![]() I even uninstalled every Apple product from the PC, and installed “just” iCloud for Windows, but it didn’t help. ![]() I am running the latest version of Windows 10 Pro (version 20H2), build 19042.585. The Windows machine has a valid, licensed, authenticated version of Microsoft 365, and Outlook is running fine. However, when I launched iCloud (which showed I was already signed into Apple) and specified just Mail/Contacts/Calendars/Tasks (then clicked on ‘Apply’), the same error message window popped up. I then (just in case) rebooted the machine. I clicked on the link (Open Apps and Features.), and did a repair (which indicated that the repair was successful). To Apps and Features, select iCloud Outlook from the app list and click “ICloud for Windows did not install properly. Today I upgraded iCloud for Windows, and although the actual software installation seemed to go OK (I was able to sign onto Apple), when I specified (only) that I wanted to sync Mail/Contacts/Calendars/Tasks, the software popped up a window saying: However, I was researching an issue with viewing iCloud Notes on the PC. ![]() ![]() This morning I was running an older version of iCloud for Windows (on a Surface Pro tablet) which appeared to be working fine. I have seen several posts on this issue, but no good resolution. ![]()
